Bank of Albania advises against the use virtual money
Bank of Albania has licensed no financial institution for the use of virtual money.

This fact was announced today by this institution, explaining to the Albanian public about the use of Bitcoin, virtual money.

“The activity of these companies is associated with a high level of risk and customers are not protected from losses in their investment. Based on this, everyone who decides to be involved in this activity, do this at their own risk”, the Central Bank appeals.

All relevant players, national and international, including the European Banking Authority and European Central Bank are working hard to assess all the problems that relate to virtual money with the scope of regulating and keeping it under watch.

The European Banking Authority, as the competent and independent authority that regulates and oversees the European banking sector, published at the end of 2013 the risks that consumers will face when they trade in virtual coins. /balkaneu.com/
