Black Sea ports, closed due to strong winds
The Romanian Black Sea ports are closed due to strong winds. The manoeuvres of the vessels in the ports were still suspended Monday morning, following the decision to halt any operation on Sunday evening because of strong winds blowing at speeds that exceeded 60 km/h.

Also due to the strong winds the movement of barge convoys on the Danube-Black Sea Canal has been restricted through the Agigea shuttle to the Port of Constanta.

According to the port authorities, due to the strong winds, on Sunday evening at 20.30h the manoeuvres in Midia, Conrtanta North and Constanta South were suspended, as wind gusts peaked to 55-65km/h./IBNA
