Former Croatian PM, Zoran Milanovic and former deputy PM, Branko Grcic, are soon expected to become advisors of the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama.
Croatian media published the news saying that Milanovic and Grcic arrived to Tirana, where they have met with the Albanian PM, Edi Rama and several other politicians. Given that former PM Milanovic has led the process of the integration of the country in the EU, the Albanian government has decided to hire his advisory services for this process.
“Given that parliamentary elections are expected to be held next year in Albania and given that Albania has been granted the EU candidate status, while the negotiations have not yet been opened, Mr. Milanovic’s experience as PM of a country which is now member of the EU, cannot be denied”, Croatian media say.
They report that an agreement has already been reached and that the former Croatian PM, Zoran Milanovic is interested for his career to continue with such consultancy services. /balkaneu.com/
