Cypriot exports down 191.6 mln y/y in January - July 2016

The total exports/dispatches of goods (covering total exports to third countries and dispatches to other EU Member States) in January-July 2016 was EUR 947 million, compared to EUR 1,138.6 million in January-July 2015.

The total imports/arrivals (covering total imports from third countries and arrivals from other EU Member States) in January-July 2016 was EUR 3,462.9 million, compared to EUR 3,021 million in January-July 2015.

The trade deficit was EUR 2,516 million for January-July 2016 compared to EUR 1,882.4 million for the same period of 2015.

In the month of July 2016 the total imports/arrivals (covering total imports from third countries and arrivals from other EU Member States) was EUR 461.4 million.

The total exports/dispatches (covering total exports to third countries and dispatches to other EU Member States), including provisions of ships and airplanes, in July 2016 was EUR 156.4 million. The total exports/dispatches of domestically produced goods, including provisions of ships and airplanes, was EUR 62.5 million, with exports/dispatches of foreign goods, including provisions of ships and airplanes, was EUR 93.9 million.
