Digital agenda, state: Open for partnership projects with the private sector
In order for Albania to catch up with technological developments, it should invest more in expanding internet broadband services.

Such fact was announced today by the minister of Innovation, Milena Harito during a conference in Tirana, adding that for areas where the market doesn’t offer investment opportunities for the private sector, the government should be ready to participate in projects in partnership between public and private sector.

One of the issues that was discussed during the conference held in the framework of the Innovation Week, was the fact that the Albanian government is open to proposals of the private with the aim of penetrating internet broadband landlines.

According to the latest statistics, Albania has around 266 thousand internet subscribers through land lines. /balkaneu.com/
