Institutions in the north do not have state symbols and Kosovo is considered a region of Serbia
Institutions in the north of the country continue to challenge the Republic of Kosovo by not respecting the law on the use of state symbols.

In the north of Mitrovica and other northern communes, such as Leposavic, Zubin Potok and Zvecan, besides Serbia’s insignia and flag, no other symbol of the state of Kosovo appears. The latter is even considered an autonomous region of the Republic of Serbia.

Thus, on Monday, authorities have replaced the old signs written in Cyrillic with other signs at the health center of Zvecan.

The intellectual from Mitrovica, Bujar Voca says that Serbia is colonizing the north, while the government of Kosovo has no agendas to prevent this scenario.

“It’s been several years that Serbia has put barricades in the north by isolating Albanians living there and making it impossible for Albanians who have been evicted from the north to return there”.

Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa is not satisfied with the process of talks with Serbia, as parallel structures are still operating in Kosovo. /balkaneu.com/
