Investment interest for Greece rising
“Completion of a second review, a debt relief prospect, improving business environment, an increase in liquidity and funding tools and a further economic and political stabilization in the country are omens of positive results for the current year,” Christos Staikos, president of Enterprise Greece said in an introductory note in bulletin released by the organization on the most significant actions and initiatives for the first half of 2017.

The bulletin said that beyond the presence of Greek enterprises in significant international trade fairs and conferences in the first half of 2017, the organization’s “front office” received and handled 537 questions-applications by interested investors, businessmen and individuals. This number surpassed the number of the cases it handled throughout 2016 and it is the result of systemic promotion actions taken by the organisation and its services in and outside Greece.

Also in the first half of 2017, Enterprise Greece’s investment department welcomed more than eight official business delegations and scheduled more than 20 focused business meetings./IBNA
