Bushati said that Albania is determined to follow a fair and honest policy on the basis of reciprocity and it is a country which will continue to cultivate this approach in the region.

“Our country is a country which has been clear on its position regarding pending issues, which we want to address in the framework of European values and international principles, which in turn do not recognize the language of threats”, Bushati declared.

During this meeting, the two counterparts discussed on issues of bilateral cooperation and further intensification of good relations that exist between the two countries.

Stopping on the developments in Ukraine, Minister Bushati expressed, on behalf of the Albanian government, support for the integration of the country and its territorial sovereignty. The two ministers praised the contribution of the Albanian Diaspora that lives and works in Ukraine and its role in further strengthening the friendship between the two countries.
