Kosovo’s national football side has conceded a big defeat on Thursday evening by Croatia in a qualifying match for the World Cup which will be held in Russia in 2018.
In the first half, Croatia scored 3 goals, while the match ended 0:6 for the Croatian side. In Pristina, the main squares were filled with football fans, but after the end of the first half, they started to empty.
This was the second match of Kosovo’s football side, played in “Loro Borici” stadium in Shkoder, in the absence of a stadium that meets FIFA standards in Kosovo. Kosovo played its first match against Finland in Finland, where it drew 1-1.
Kosovo’s next fixture will be against Ukraine on 9 October and the game will be played in Poland, as Ukraine hasn’t recognized Kosovo as a state. /balkaneu.com/
