Opposition parties Self Determination, Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and Incentive for Kosovo, have not welcomed the proposal of the minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahiri who has proposed a wider participation in the third round of talks with Serbia, as it was the case of the Unity Team in the talks held in Vienna.
Tahiri’s proposal is considered by Self Determination and Incentive for Kosovo as a way to make concessions to Serbia, while the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo says that it’s not important who represents Kosovo in the talks. What’s important, according to this party is the format of talks.
Minister for Dialogue, Edita Tahir said on Wednesday while reporting in front of the Parliamentary Foreign Committee that the third round of talks between Kosovo and Serbia, which is expected to end with a mutual recognition, there will be a team similar to the one participating in the Vienna talks.
Self Determination says that this process of talks has only favored Serbia. Meanwhile, for the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, the issue of talks between Kosovo and Serbia is not a matter of teams that participate in it.
A change in the format of talks with Serbia has also been mentioned by president of Kosovo Hashim Thaci. /balkaneu.com/
