Members of the Academy of Science and Arts in FYROM are concerned about the fact that the political crisis in the country continues and that it is reflected in many aspects.
This academy is marking the 49th anniversary of foundation, but its heads have also commented the developments in the country.
The head of the academy, Taki Fiti says that the solution of the crisis comes through the holding of free and fair elections and through the creation of a government which has the capacity to solve the crisis.
“The problems that the Republic of Macedonia faces will not be solved overnight. We are expecting free and fair elections to take place and the creation of a government which has the capacity to solve the political crisis. However, as if have stressed so far, we are focusing on these problems and these problems require reforms, energy and political will”, said Taki Fiti, a prominent economist.
According to him, the academy is ready to offer its contribution in findings solutions for the future of the country.
The former head of the Academy, Vlado Kamovksi says that their messages have not been heard by politics.
“Politics must adapt to the requests of science and higher education and not the opposite”, Kambovski said.
Several months ago, the Academy of Science and Arts addressed a letter to all political players in the country to find compromise in order to overcome the political crisis. /balkaneu.com/
