It’s been several days that Self Determination MPs are trying to hold a parliamentary session to discuss the mysterious death of one of their activists, but this is not being included in the agenda of proceedings.
Before today’s session started, Self Determination MPs blocked the parliament’s podium with a banner which had the word “Justice” written on it.
Leader of Self Determination, Visar Ymeri said that this parliament is not allowing debates on a very important issue, that of the death of a student in mysterious circumstances.
He addressed to his colleagues by saying that the truth is being withheld by not holding an extraordinary session.
Ymeri said that Astrit Dehari was arrested for terrorism, but no credible evidence was brought.
“He was kept under custody for 68 days, but he was never interrogated. With his activity, Astrit wanted to give a voice to the people, while this regime wants to deprive people from it”, Ymeri said. /balkaneu.com/
