Painter Omer Kaleshi brings 24 paintings in Skopje

The exhibition of the Albanian prominent painter, Omer Kaleshi opened last night in Skopje. The painter, who lives in Paris, has brought 24 of his paintings in the “Cifte Amam” gallery in Skopje.

“I am very happy and I would like to thank all my friends who are here. I am very touched”, said the painter.

Kaleshi said that after this one week exhibition, all the paintings will be given to the commune of Cair in Skopje. The head of this commune, Izet Mexhiti said that he feels privileged that their commune will have works by this great Albanian artist.

This exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Culture and the National Galery. Omer Kaleshi is a prominent Albanian painter from Kercova, who lives and works in Paris. /balkaneu.com/
