Pristina, June 17, 2013

Pristina and Belgrade exchange today their liaison officers based on the agreement achieved in December of last year between the two respective ministers.

The liaison officers will carry out the work of ambassadors.

Thus, Lulzim Peci is the first official of the state of Kosovo who will start work in the Serb capital, whereas his Serb counterpart Dejan Pavicevic will come to Pristina.

The opening of diplomatic centers of Kosovo and Serbia in the respective countries has been considered as an important step toward the normalization of relations between the two independent states. /ibna/
