During a meeting held today with the chief prosecutor of the Special Tribunal on war crimes in Kosovo, David Schwendiman, the Serb deputy PM and Interior Minister, Nebojsha Stefanovic said that “this tribunal is expected to collect sufficient evidence to prosecute all those who have committed war crimes against Serbs in Kosovo”.

“It is very important to protect possible witnesses, given the influence of powerful individuals who can slow down or act as an obstacle of bringing these people to justice”, Stefanovic said.

Meanwhile, Schwendiman said that he’s aware of the fact that he has a difficult job and that he  will do everything within his power to investigate every allegation that exists. /balkaneu.com/
