Trade deficit increases EUR 264 mln yoy for January-June 2017
Total imports/arrivals (covering total imports from third countries and arrivals from other EU member states) in January-June 2017 amounted to €3.681,0 mln as compared to €3.552,3 mln in January-June 2016. Total exports/dispatches (covering total exports to third countries and dispatches to other EU Member States) in January- June 2017 were €1.319,0 mln compared to €1.454,4 mln in January-June 2016. The trade deficit was €2.361,9 mln in January-June 2017 compared to €2.097,9 mln in the corresponding period of 2016.

During June 2017 total imports/arrivals (covering total imports from third countries and arrivals from other EU member states) valued at €542,5 mln as compared to €693,4 mln in June 2016.

Total exports/dispatches (covering total exports to third countries and dispatches to other EU Member States), including stores and provisions, in June 2017 amounted to €283,1 mln as compared to €255,8 mln in June 2016. Exports/dispatches of domestically produced goods, including stores and provisions, were €97,8 mln as compared to €67,4 mln in June 2016 whilst exports/dispatches of foreign goods, including stores and provisions, were €185,3 mln as compared to €188,5 mln in June 2016. Total domestic exports of industrial products in June 2017 were €85,7 mln compared to €57,4 mln in June 2016. Total domestic exports of agricultural products in June 2017 were €10,4 mln compared to €8,2 mln in June 2016./IBNA
