Edison Kurani

Journalist

Edison Kurani is a journalist, member of the Albanian Institute of Media, Association of Professional Journalists and member of the International Association of Journalists.

He started his career in 1996, initially on television and then in 1998 he continued his career in newspapers. After working for the daily newspaper "Shekulli", in 2002 he was part of the prestigious newspaper "Korrieri" and then in 2007, he led the first daily national newspaper, "Koha Jone".

Engaged in several newspapers, radio, TV, magazines, etc, he was one of few journalists who started online journalism in 1998 with Albinfo and then with Albtoday. His analyses, mainly political, occupy an important spot in TV debates. In 2006, he founded NOA national news agency, which has been the most popular one in Albania for the past 11 years. Since 2013 he's been part of IBNA (Independent Balkan News AGency) and since 2017 he has been leading the daily Albanian Free Press newspaper.

With a double passion for travel and chasing news, he has conducted a number of reports, coverages and interviews in many EU countries, USA, China, etc. He speaks Albanian, Greek, English and Italian.
