Kosovo’s speaker of parliament, Kadri Veseli has addressed criticism against the policies of the European Union regarding the liberalization of visas.

Veseli declared that Kosovo has met all the criteria set out in the guideline of the European Commission for the liberalization of visas.

“By using double standards, the EU is keeping the citizens of Kosovo isolated”, Veseli said in a meeting with the ambassador of the Republic of Croatia in Pristina.

This meeting discussed the steps that Kosovo is taking in its EU integration path, stressing on the process of the liberalization of visas.

On her part, ambassador Kapitanovic said that Croatia supports the liberalization of visas for the citizens of Kosovo and that it will offer its contribution in foreign policy for Kosovo’s accession in different international organizations. /balkaneu.com/
