E-cigarette ban in public spaces across Greece

E-cigarette ban in public spaces across Greece
On Monday, March 26, the Council of State plenary ruled electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) "fall under the same restrictions as cigarette smoking, including a ban on their use in public spaces, transportation and in advertisements", the ANA-MPA report reads.

"Law 4410/2016 and related ministerial decisions on conventional smoking also affect e-cigarettes, Greece's highest administrative court said in its decision 704/2018, rejecting a petition by the Association of Greek e-cigarette Businesses to cancel a series of decisions on its restricted use."

The association is lawfully allowed to file a lawsuit in order to be compensated for the economic harm they claim was caused to them.... / IBNA
