Ramadan Zejnullahu is elected the rector of the University of Pristina

The head of the Steering Committee of the University of Pristina, Shefkije Islamaj declared that this committee has decided for Ramadan Zejnullahu to be the new rector of the University of Pristina.

Zejnullahu was selected among the five candidates who were running for this post: Behxhet Mustafa, Adem Nura, Anton Berishaj and Isuf Musliu.

He will have a two year mandate, as he will fill in for the former rector Ibrahim Gashi until September 30, 2016.

Until the start of the year, the University of Pristina was led by Ibrahim Gashi, who resigned, while in April, the Steering Committee elected professor Anton Berishaj in this post.

The new rector, Ramadan Zejnullahu was born on May 8, 1957. He is a doctor of sciences in Maths. /ibna/
