This tradition has started 13 years ago and is repeated every June. But its presentation doesn’t change. Different music bands “invade” the stage where there’s only one condition to become part of the ‘Rock for Rock” history: good music.

The hosts are ready to launch the festival. Those who become part of the race must submit two recorded demos of the songs with which they will participate.

“This time we expect to have more interesting guests. We’re still in the stage of the selection of musical bands. Like it has happened in other years, this festival will again be interesting”, says Muhamet Veseli, one of the hosts.

Last year’s edition joined together 4 groups from Kosovo and 4 groups from Albania. Among them is “Badfeel” from Pristina, which won this competition. Eurisa Rukovci in the vocal, Ron Latifi in the guitar bass and Albin Abazi on the battery, make up the band formed two years ago.

A foreign band as a guest for the 13th edition of “Rock for Rock” remains an impossible mission. Budget restrictions are the reason that the other joint host of the only music festival in Kosovo, Agim Berisha mentions.

“There will not be guests from abroad, we don’t have a budget for such thing. But, with the sources that we have, we will try to organize a good festival”, says Berisha.

“Rock for Rock” is determined to fulfill the scope that the hosts, Agim Berisha, Shkelzen Veseli, Agron Bajrami, Valton Beqiri and Muhamet Veseli set to themselves when they joined together for the young rock musicians. The scope was only one: To create a stage to meet with the public. /ibna/
